You are an experienced Scheduler that will be responsible for the planning, development, coordination and maintenance of detailed work schedules for the project schedule. Tracking issues, analyzing data and reporting to a variety of stakeholders and clients will be included in your responsibilities.

Assists the project team in the development of the project schedule; review progress against the baseline schedule and perform updates and revisions
Maintains configuration control on the master schedule
Identifies and analyzes the critical path; provides recommendations for acceleration
Resource load the schedule, prepare manpower and resource histograms
Integrates the design, permitting and material supply with the construction activities
Facilitate the tracking of project milestones and deadlines; produces the baseline schedule, inputs and updates throughout the project from information provided by project team members. Leads regularly scheduled reviews
Inputs weekly and monthly productivity and progress report information into the schedule to help provide insight into patterns that are occurring
Participate in planning meetings with the project team to optimize project goals, schedule and budget
Monitors and reports on work progress and performs schedule critical path analysis
Analyzes construction data and performs mathematical calculations to determine resource requirements for the schedule based on the reality of the work
Prepares risk analysis, mitigation plans and “what-if” scenarios by using schedule compression techniques
Prepares and maintains complex reports in MS Excel including but not limited to bar charts, S-curves, resource histograms and variance reports
Compiles, reviews, analyzes and presents large quantities of data via the progress monitoring tool
Evaluates actual construction progress and provides regularly scheduled updates and Look-ahead schedules
Monitors schedule compliance with practice standard for scheduling and initiates corrective measures
Reviews the project forecast to ensure alignment to plan and approved budget
Identifies potential problems and delays that can impact schedule and communicate it with project team to prepare the mitigation plan accordingly

5+ years of related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
Completed post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management or engineering related discipline
Experience working with schedules on relevant large-scale Design Build projects
Strong understanding of construction productivities and schedules
Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Understanding of telecommunication design and construction techniques
Capable of anticipating constructability/constraint issues in complex schedules and creating new solutions to meet the construction plan and schedule
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities
Expert with Primavera P6 Scheduling software and Resource Loading / Histogram features
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including the ability to manipulate large amounts of data and perform complex functions within Excel
