As an organized and efficient Administrative Assistant, you are responsible for the accurate and timely completion of a variety of administrative tasks required to support our Mining Operations team. You are able to use your time effectively and efficiently and are excellent at prioritizing tasks.

Provides comprehensive administrative support to the project and office teams as required.
Types and distributes correspondence via email.
Answers the telephone.
Responsible for data entry, filing and photocopying.
Maintains multiple filing systems.
Understands and follows written document control procedures.
Distributes mail as well as courier coordination.
Maintains administrative logs and tracking systems.
Assists with ordering of materials and coordination of deliveries.
Runs errands and makes deliveries.
Other related duties as assigned.
1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Relevant industry experience.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
Previous experience working with JD Edwards is preferred.
Strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook experience and an aptitude for learning various computer systems.
Must possess tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
4 days on / 3 days off shift rotation
