Ledcor is seeking a HR Communications Coordinator to join our Human Resources team for a 12-month contract. This role seeks ambitious creativity with a passion for details and will help support Ledcor’s employment brand in the digital space through promotion of employment opportunities and career events.

HR2020 will improve the employee experience at Ledcor through enabling technology and broadened HR service delivery. Assists with all Ledcor Careers social media accounts including content management, scheduling, posting and interaction, and reporting
Assists in the creation, design and implementation of recruitment marketing campaigns and collateral for various jobs, hiring campaigns, and career events
Assists with the maintenance of content on our careers site and other websites promoting Ledcor’s employment opportunities and our employment brand
Updates and adds content to our intranet site, HR Central using SharePoint
Organizes, coordinates and promotes career fairs and recruitment events, including event booking, information session logistics, booth coordination, marketing materials, social/website content, giveaways, presentation materials, attendee schedules etc.
Tracks and maintains the costs associated with event logistics, sponsorship, giveaways and advertising and provides recommendations for future events
Participate in researching and brainstorming for ongoing projects and events
Assists the recruitment team with managing our talent community outreach and engagement
Post-secondary education in Communications, Digital Marketing, Digital Design and Development, or related field, with an emphasis on online platforms and communications
Previous internship or co-op experience in digital communications would be an asset
Experience in the development and delivery of social media marketing
Experience in event coordination would be an asset
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Tweetdeck)
Proficiency with MS Office suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of Adobe CS (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) MS SharePoint, and website content management systems such as Kentico, Drupal or Moodle an asset
Good knowledge of branding, digital marketing and SEO best practices
Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong proven writing skills, with the ability to understand your audience
Highly detail oriented
This is a 12 month contract with the possibility of extension
