Job Summary

Ledcor is seeking a Campus Recruiter to join our team in either the Edmonton, AB or Vancouver, BC office. The Campus Recruiter is responsible for driving the full cycle recruitment process for student and new graduate hiring within the Ledcor Group of Companies. This position plays a central role in building and developing a qualified pool of students and new graduates, and will act as a talent scout by being actively engaged in the external labour market, targeting individuals for employment with Ledcor.

This position is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains external relationships with numerous universities and colleges across Canada and the US, to understand programs, student availability and hiring timelines
• Works with other recruiters and business leaders to identify hiring requirements, target schools and schedules
• Works with other HR team members to ensure that all career fair and recruitment event logistics are organized and communicated, participates in events as required
• Provides full cycle recruitment support for students and new graduates, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, and presenting a diversified and high quality pool of candidates to the business leaders in a timely manner
• Conduct candidate prescreens and behavioural-based interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process; coordinate and facilitate candidate interview scheduling and logistics
• Develop customized job postings that present Ledcor externally as an employer of choice
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source candidates, post jobs and manage the candidate selection workflow, ensuring that recruitment activity is consistently updated
• Provides support to other recruitment team members on candidate sourcing, screening and assessment
• Participates in the management, review and revisions for the overall student and new graduate hiring program for Ledcor, including the implementation of the program tools and guidelines
• Develops and maintains internal relationships with other recruitment team members and hiring managers to understand the business requirements and deliverables
• Compile data, conduct analysis and prepare reports on student and new grad recruitment activities
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a recruitment position in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Previous in-house recruitment experience preferred, preferably within a large, corporate environment with complex hiring processes
• Post-secondary education in Business and/or Human Resources preferred
• Demonstrated experience in driving full cycle recruitment, including proactive candidate sourcing
• Ability to effectively interpret position requirements, conduct a hiring plan discussion and assess candidates against the position profile
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of behavioural interviewing
• Excellent organizational and execution skills and the ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment while driving a consistent recruitment process
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with online sourcing, job board posting, applicant tracking systems and social media
• Ability to change pace in a multi-faceted, dynamic environment
• Ability to work and make decisions independently

Work Conditions

• Occasional event-related travel will be required
