You are an experienced systems administrator who is seeking to apply your skills on both traditional and virtual servers. As Senior Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security of technology systems, with a focus on leading and executing project initiatives and implementations, while providing guidance to the team members. In this role, you will lead team members in the deployment and management of proposed infrastructure solutions. In addition, you will provide training and knowledge transfer to enable team members to utilize and manage the deployed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute new project implementations, providing regular status updates to key stakeholders
• Oversee projects by taking ownership of infrastructure requests, and interfacing with team members and business stakeholders to see projects through to completion, ensuring all work efforts are captured within Ledcor IS’s service management application
• Liaise between design and implementation teams
• Review Test Strategies and Test Plans to ensure the functional quality of proposed solutions
• Support training and solution implementation activities
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews
• Support on-site and off-site design, installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting for technology systems and their related technologies in order to deliver required service levels
• Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex system problems, and recommend and implement corrective solutions
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain IT systems within local and other Ledcor locations, such as servers, firewalls, network switches and routers
• Develop and maintain an understanding of business processes that rely on the supported technology systems, and their associated service level agreements
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects that impact implementations, changes or improvements to related products or systems
• Ensure the continual improvement of the knowledge base, while assisting with the improvement of process deficiencies
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience in systems/infrastructure administration in a large, enterprise organization
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related field
• Previous team leadership or management experience preferred
• Proven experience working with both physical and virtual servers
• Demonstrate experience or knowledge in: cloud computing and XaaS (e.g. O365); systems security, or cyber security, and related devices; various vendor network devices, wireless controllers and access points; DNS/DHCP/Wins/Active Directory/Group Policies
• Experience with TACACs/Radius Authentication and Authorization
• General understanding of ITIL best practices
• Familiarity with a service management system, preferably ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of a scripting language, preferably PowerShell
• Highly motivated team player with an ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing business environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to customer service

Work Conditions

• Scheduled on call support will be required
• Travel to Ledcor remote offices will be required
• Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines or perform special projects
