Job Summary

You are an experienced Executive Recruiter and Talent Sourcer who will lead end-to-end leadership hiring for The Ledcor Group of Companies, ensuring a high quality, cost-effective and forward-thinking sourcing and talent acquisition strategy. You will serve as a key member of the Talent CoE team and will build an executive recruiting and talent sourcing function while executing hands-on recruiting for senior leadership roles (director and above). You have a proven ability to build networks, turn a passive candidate into an active one, and engage talent at all levels. Using your exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, you will actively engage with candidates to support Ledcor’s hard to hire positions.

• Manage talent acquisition strategy and development of related programs to attract, hire and onboard leaders across the company
• Proactively develop and execute candidate generation strategies using all available recruitment tools (including social media) for senior level or hard to hire positions
• Identify, build relationships with, and recruit passive external candidates via cold calls, conferences, networking events or other internal networks
• Define, design and implement leadership recruiting programs and manage search engagements for Director level and above
• Partner with Executives to develop a detailed position specification and build a target profile, providing data-driven advice on the potential candidate pool, challenges, timeline, and process
• Manage end-to-end executive search engagements from candidate identification to onboarding including research, engagement strategies, candidate experience, negotiations and partnering with HR for successful onboarding and communicating status to all stakeholders along the way
• Identify candidates through a variety of sources including internal referrals, networking, applicants, cold calling and other avenues and vet, develop candidates maintaining a robust pipeline, adjusting sourcing approach based on feedback throughout the process
• Conduct thoughtful and sophisticated interviews which illuminate candidates' full range of relevant knowledge, skills, abilities behavioral and leadership qualities and gain insights into potential performance gaps, strengths, professional goals and requirements, compensation details, and key historical career elements plus assess cultural fit and possible integration barriers into the organization
• Apply expert technical acumen and deep knowledge of applicant tracking systems and tools to manage candidate and search data and make recommendations, share insights and train other recruiters
• Develop and maintain trust-based professional relationships with internal clients, candidates and external search firm partners
• Serve as a subject matter expert, skilled problem solver and thoughtful facilitator in offer negotiations
• Identify, negotiate and manage relationships with executive search firms, collaborating closely throughout the process to ensure high levels of service, expedience and quality.
• Capture and maintain accurate market data and work closely with the Total Rewards team to ensure current, competitive and robust remuneration packages and ranges for the executive workforce
• Track, record and analyze candidate and search data and develop efficient, relevant and accessible reports. Create, manage a process to regularly, proactively update system and leaders on such data


• At least 3 years of executive recruiting experience combined with 7+ years of relevant professional work experience
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Management or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Previous experience at an executive search firm, as an in-house strategic recruiter or as a recruiting leader with a focus on developing innovative talent acquisition processes
• Experience partnering with executive and senior leadership teams and conducted successful end-to-end searches for VP-level candidates and other challenging searches
• Deep expertise defining candidate/job profiles, networking and sourcing active lists of candidates, running candidate assessment processes, and collecting feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with an ability to facilitate integration, build consensus and engagement, drive strategy and partner with internal and external teams in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment with often unstructured goals
• Excited to accept the challenge, risk and rewards of a turnaround and a calm demeanor with an ability to juggle multiple complex, competing priorities and proactively diffuse conflict and stress.
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills and excellent attention to detail
• Executive level communication, assessment, conflict resolution, decision-making and interpersonal skills: a highly effective communication style, articulate and clear in person, verbally and in writing; an ability to successfully interact with diverse populations including executives, external partners and agencies
• A driven, hands-on style and current functional knowledge base to draw from, willing and able to do what it takes to achieve goals.
• Technically savvy, able to use and suggest progressive computer and other software applications, tools and technologies relevant to the transformation and growth of Ledcor’s Talent Acquisition executive recruiting function
• Experience working in large companies with multiple locations across diverse regions
• Experience thriving in an environment undergoing extensive culture change is preferred
• Experience developing and presenting plans and programs to senior leaders and driving results at all levels, including managing large scale, ongoing and short term projects
