Job Summary

You are an organized and efficient Proposal Coordinator with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain multiple priorities. You have excellent communication skills and are no stranger to planning. Working with Ledcor's industrial team, you will assist with preparing proposal submissions and qualification packages by providing writing assistance, strategic input and ensuring timely delivery.

• Monitor opportunities for RFPs, EOIs, and RFQs
• Prepare Proposals, Tenders and Pre-Qualification submissions
• Write and edit proposal documents that are focused and innovative for RFQ and RFP responses
• Provide strong technical writing support to proposal teams and work closely with subject matter experts identifying benefits and value-add content for proposal submissions
• Write, proof, research, develop and maintain template content for proposals and business development
• Ensure that proposal documents meet Client requirements, are accurate and follow Ledcor’s brand guidelines
• Support local and national businesses development initiatives (events, presentations and marketing materials) as required
• Maintain up to date marketing library of resumes, project profiles, presentations and photos while following brand standards
• Draft, edit and type correspondence, reports, presentations and other documentation using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Standard and Visio
• Ensure proposal materials and equipment are properly sourced and maintained
• May perform other related duties as required


• 5 years of experience in a proposal or business writing environment
• Prior experience in a marketing, proposal or communications support role
• Advanced in MS Office including Visio is a must. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is an asset
• Capacity to work effectively with deadlines and short-term frames in high pressure environments
• Detailed oriented with a strong eye for editing and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to demonstrate initiative while remaining flexible and creative
• Knowledge of main construction office processes: project set up; subcontract management; change orders; RFIs (request for information); lien holdbacks; closeout
• Capable of probing and listening carefully, presents information clearly in an appropriate style and persuades others in straightforward situations
• Willingness to contribute actively in team activates, sharing experiences and ideas
