Job Summary

You are a Field Coordinator with experience in Cathodic Protection (CP) installation and repair. You will be responsible for coordinating the day to day field activities for the project and will report to the Field Supervisor and Project Manager.

Due to the location of this project, candidates from the Swift Current, SK area will be given preference.

• Work closely with the Field Supervisor to support and coordinate various CP installation activities onsite
• Prepare as-built/red line drawings using BlueBeam software
• Perform quality control on completed work
• Work closely with the inspector to ensure all quality paperwork is updated
• Complete daily timesheets for work completed and quantities installed
• Code and submit expense forms for the crew
• Enter data from into a daily progress tracking spreadsheet
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and materials reports
• Notify the Project Manager on changes to the scope of work and assist in preparing change order requests
• Order and track materials including client supplied materials for the project
• Coordinate dispatching of subcontractors and third party suppliers
• Assist crew with work activities on site such as splicing, installation of cables and/or anodes, etc.
• May perform other related duties as required to complete the project


• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a field coordinator or similar role
• An understanding of the CP industry and/or NACE certification is an asset
• Able to read and understand drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication with a high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to interact with client, field personnel and subcontractors
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Effective multitasking and organizational skills
• Strong computer background including experience with programs such as MS Word and Excel, and PDF editing software
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

Work Conditions

• Field based position (on various sites near Swift Current, SK)
• Shift is based on a schedule of 11 days working, 3 days off
