Job Summary
You are an experienced quality assurance professional seeking an opportunity to expand your experience within the aviation sector. In the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will perform a wide range of quality control and quality assurance duties within Summit Air. With a background in auditing, you will conduct both internal and external audits, and follow up accordingly.

Responsibilities
  • Perform audit functions of the Quality Assurance Program per company policies and procedures
  • Carry out on site spot checks of work in progress to ensure conformance to the applicable company policies and procedures
  • Assist department heads and company personnel in matters of regulatory compliance
  • Act as a resource person for implementation of policies and procedures
  • Identify quality issues through the quality audit process and recommend solutions
  • Conduct follow-up on internal and external audits
  • Assist with development of company audit program and preparation of audit summary reports
  • Aid in the development and implementation of policies and procedures which will ensure full adherence to the applicable industry regulations, and company policies and procedures
  • Assist and facilitate in the implementation of continuous improvement programs
  • May perform other related duties as assigned


Requirements
  • 2 - 4 years of quality assurance experience
  • Previous experience in aviation or within a regulatory body would be an asset
  • Background in auditing required
  • Completion of Aviation Auditor course would be an asset
  • Highly analytical, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral; ability to liaise effectively with departmental heads and company personnel at all levels
  • Proven time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
