Job Summary
You are an experienced Certified Treasury Professional who has experience working in a Treasury group and leading projects successfully. As the Senior Treasury Analyst you are responsible for the day-to-day management of Ledcor's cash and investments with a focus on creating value by identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement within treasury. You will also implement and lead treasury projects, while providing support for all aspects of credit-related decision making and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Manages Ledcor's day-to-day treasury operations by working in conjunction with the Treasury Administrator to optimize Ledcor's overall liquidity, facilitate various forms of payment processing, and administer credit card programs
  • Implements and manages treasury projects by coordinating internal and external resources, which may involve adoption of new technologies, creation of treasury policies and procedures, and optimization of cash reporting / cash forecasting tools
  • Issuing, managing and reporting on outstanding letters of credit, coordinating with operations to ensure that all requirements are met
  • Collaborating with Corporate Accounting to prepare covenant compliance and margin calculations
  • Preparing financial analyses to assess counterparty risk for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Assisting in the analysis and execution of financing transactions
  • Establishes and maintains strong strategic relationships with banks and service providers to optimize fees, efficiency, and service levels; coordinates with banks to assist with year-end audit process
  • Stays abreast of current trends and best practices pertaining to payment strategies, fraud prevention, and treasury management through networking with other corporate practitioners, attend industry seminars and conventions, and leveraging his / her relationships with banks and other service providers


Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in Corporate Finance with a minimum of 3-5 years working in Treasury
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of banking, treasury and accounting concepts
  • Analytical skills in interpreting financial data
  • Experience with financial modelling in MS Excel and proficient with MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with both internal and external contacts, maintaining a strong service oriented approach
  • Proven leadership skills to lead projects from conception to completion successfully
  • Ability to work with sensitive and highly confidential documents and information
  • Ability to identify, investigate and resolve problems; ability to seek out, recommend and implement process improvements
  • Exceptional diligence and thoroughness with a strong attention to detail
  • Extremely well organized and able to effectively manage workload, time and priorities
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others
