Job Summary
You are an experienced administrative professional with a keen eye for details, familiarity with concrete deadlines, and strong communication skills. As Training Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Ledcor Summit Air Training team, where you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring training documentation is up to date for both new and existing employees and in adherence with government regulations.

  • In cooperation with Department Heads and Managers, develops training syllabus and training program content for Summit Air
  • Amends and maintains training programs
  • Delivers applicable components of training
  • Coordinates initial and recurrent training for various departments
  • Conducts new hire orientation training
  • Follows up with new hires to ensure all training items are completed
  • Develops training manuals, procedures and forms
  • Designs and implements a system to evaluate effectiveness of training provided by the company
  • Ensured external training providers are selected in accordance with company standards
  • Updates the database with training documentation
  • Prepares training summary reports
  • Prepares quarterly update of pilot credentials
  • Administers Ledcor learning management system
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of training records
  • May perform other related duties as assigned

  • Successful applicant must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience required
  • Candidates with aviation, marine, or industrial training administration experience will be given preference
  • Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards is an asset
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and independently
  • Highly analytical with strong Administration skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Ability to handle a high-volume workload with concrete deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate urgency
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be local to or willing to relocate to Yellowknife, NT, accommodations are not provided
