Job Summary
You are a dynamic talent acquisition professional with 5-7+ years of experience sourcing and recruiting top performers in the field of Telecommunications. You will continuously build relationships and talent pipelines in the market, engaging with candidates at all levels to support the end-to-end recruitment process.

  • Proactively develop and execute candidate generation strategies using all available recruitment tools (including social media) to fill positions at all levels, with a greater focus on senior level or hard to hire positions
  • Identify, build relationships with, and recruit passive external candidates via cold calls,conferences, associations, post-secondary relationships, networking events or other internal networks
  • Effectively represent and market the Ledcor brand, the business objectives and career opportunities to identified candidates
  • Research, develop and present market intelligence to other recruiters or business leaders on the best way to identify top talent in the market
  • Identify and build relationships with various associations, educational institutions and networking groups to identify passive talent
  • Conduct candidate prescreens and provide recommendations on suitability
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through all interactions in support of the Ledcor Brand
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with recruiters and business leaders to develop customized recruitment plans that address hard to hire position requirements
  • Collaborate with business leaders or other recruiters to communicate and advise on recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies and market intelligence
  • Design and develop customized job postings that present Ledcor externally as an employer of choice
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with other recruitment team members and hiring managers to ensure an in-depth understanding of business requirements and deliverables

  • 5- 7+ years of talent acquisition experience, within the field of Telecommunications, with a proven ability to strategically source and identify top talent in the market
  • Familiar with Telecommunications-specific terminology, and ability to keenly identify and assess industry-related skills/experience
  • Well-versed in a wide range of sourcing techniques, including both internal and external job postings, social media channels, database mining, cold calling, networking and market research
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Management or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in market research, targeted recruitment sourcing, candidate identification and assessment
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates and other recruitment team members
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to understand needs, handle objections and position opportunities to potential candidates effectively
  • Excellent organizational and execution skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating within a broader human resources team
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
