Job Summary
The Receptionist Team represents Ledcor as the first point of contact for the office in a friendly and professional manner. The Senior Receptionist is responsible to supervise the Reception Team ensuring the unit maintains a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency within all areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities
•Proficient with all emergency and security procedures within the office
•Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the reception team including staffing scheduling
•Performance management of direct reports to provide feedback and support process
•Provides reception and switchboard coverage as required
•Acts as the point of contact for the office and responds to customer inquiries
•Oversees the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
•Facilitates effective communication between the team and its customers
•Responsible to keep the office space presentable, professional and organized while addressing maintenance requirements
•Assists with and oversees the accounting related support provided by the Reception team
•Participates in the development of Office Services policies and procedures
•Participates in the coordination of company events for the Edmonton area including the Employee Giving campaign

Requirements
•High school graduate
•Minimum of 5 years' experience working in reception or customer service role in a medium to large sized office environment
•An understanding of business administration and finance, facility systems and information technology
•Strong computer background including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Standard and JD Edwards
•Strong customer service skills with the ability to understand and react to customer needs and situations
•Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
•Ability to take the initiative and work independently
•Must have good organizational skills and be detailed oriented
•Knowledge of standard procedures and practices in an office
•Ability to learn on the job and apply to work. This learning should include information about personnel, organization, and service improvement
•Ability to work effectively under continuing pressure and possible interruptions

Work Conditions
•Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
•Travel: Role is Edmonton based across two offices within a quick drive of each other
