Job Summary
You are an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in records management. As a Document Control Administrator, you will be responsible for the control, organization, updating, distribution and maintenance of all Summit Air documents in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Design, maintain and administer SharePoint and ShareFile websites for Summit Air
  • Upload, organize, track and maintain all Summit documentation in both electronic and paper format
  • Evaluate accuracy and completeness of all document change requests, and validate against regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Coordinate the process for creating and amending documents with technical experts
  • Review documents against set criteria and company standards
  • Submit finalized documents to compliance for a review and acceptance
  • Coordinate with department heads, managers and training department to distribute changes
  • Manage document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to all Summit personnel
  • May perform other related duties as assigned


Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in progressively responsible records retention and document control roles
  • Tech savvy individual with strong computer skills and significant experience with MS Word and Excel, knowledge with ShareFile and
  • Dropbox an asset
  • Experience with SharePoint or a similar document management system an asset
  • Post-secondary diploma in Records Management or equivalent program of study preferred
  • Previous experience with regulatory documents, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), or similar would be a significant asset
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Above-average attention to detail, with the ability to produce an accurate finished product
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, anticipate and deliver to tight deadlines, and manage high volumes of work


Work Conditions
  • Office based position
  • Monday to Friday schedule
