Job Summary:

You are an experienced Surveyor seeking a great wage, extensive benefits, and want to work for a company who prides themselves on safety. You have previously worked alongside crews within an industrial environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Complete field survey requests, measurements, and setup / configuring survey instruments.
• Comfortable working with crews and proficient at communication.
• Establish secondary control from primary site control networks.
• Interpret and extrapolate surveying data from construction and design drawings.
• Install survey stake locations, such as Right of Way limits, pile locations and cut-offs, and site grading.
• Prepare surveying notes, level notes, grade sheets, and calculate coordinates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of field Surveying experience
• Preferred to have completed diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Technical background in surveying, using conventional & digital levels, robotic total stations (Leica), and Trimble GPS equipment
• Proficient with Trimble Access and Leica Captivate
• Attention to detail with the ability to recognize & communicate discrepancies
• Must be able to complete pre-access Drug and Alcohol testing

Work Conditions:

• Shift based role of 14/7, camp and travel provided
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
