Journeyperson B Pressure Welder (Night Shift)

Job Summary:

You are a Journeyperson B Pressure Welder that has extensive experience working in an industrial shop setting. We are looking for a Journeyperson B Pressure Welder to support us during our overnight shifts in our Module Fabrication shop in Nisku, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in accordance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities:

• Performs Pipe welding (capable of rolling pipe and/or position welding)
• Work with riggers and laborers to successfully complete tasks
• Cleans and checks for Weld defects
• Mentors and coaches Apprentice Welders
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be an Interprovincial Red Seal or have a Journeyman Welding ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• Must possess STT ( F6/F4)  Welding ticket Max thickness in the 6G position
• Previous experience working in an industrial shop environment
• Must possess a valid “B” pressure ticket
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
