Job Summary:

As the Manager, Learning Programs, you will be responsible for overseeing implementation and enhancement of Ledcor’s learning programs by aligning them to Ledcor’s Learning & Development framework and Leader Expectations. In this role you will lead a team of Subject Matter Experts responsible for defining learning paths for critical talent segments, which includes the identification and management of the capabilities and skills required to drive Operational success

As a central point of contact for learning, you will manage learning demand through prioritization of requests, conducting needs assessments, and engages the internal team as well as external resources to deliver learning solutions. In addition to overseeing the implementation of learning programs, you will be responsible for evaluation methodologies and review of program feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

You bring thought leadership to the Learning & Development function, staying on top of best practices in learning and sharing relevant insights to the broader Learning team.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team that implements and improves learning programs aligned to the Learning Framework and Learning Paths for critical talent segments, to fulfil organizational skills and capability requirements
  • You will Identify and maintain enterprise-wide Skills and Capabilities frameworks through Learning Paths, in partnership with Talent Programs and Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, to meet operational needs
  • Guide demand planning and needs assessment activities through partnership with Manager, Learning Design, Business HR, Talent COE teams, Shared Services, and Operational teams
  • You will provide coaching and guidance to learning professionals to enhance team performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of best practice learning theory and implements within Ledcor learning programs as appropriate

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in adult learning and/or instructional design including experience managing learning programs in a large, complex organization
  • Proven experience engaging multiple stakeholders to deliver learning programs
  • Background leading team of learning professionals
  • Understanding of Learning experience platforms configuration
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent customer service focus and a true team player
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to lead people and projects
  • Excellent Instructional Design skills

Working Conditions:

  •  This is a work from home position, some travel may be required
