Job Summary:

As a Junior Programmer Analyst, you will assist in designing innovative solutions, and developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting applications/integrations within the ServiceNow platform, while working collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Development (50%)

  • Assist in creating custom applications within the ServiceNow framework such as business rules, script includes, workflows, service portal pages/widgets, catalogue Items, UI scripts, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, import sets, transform maps, reports, dashboards, events, and notifications
  • Assist in creating integrations between ServiceNow & Other Enterprise Systems
  • Build on current platform knowledge by learning new modules and broadening skillset
  • Test and rework any customizations required for upgrades to new releases of ServiceNow

Business Analysis (30%)

  • Assist in translating business objectives into systems requirements
  • Assist in design analysis, and document specifications for system changes
  • Assist in developing and presenting business cases Develop and present business cases
  • Design Analysis
  • Assist in system Design, including infrastructure, screens, and business logic
  • Liaise in a professional manner with project stakeholders as required to solicit/confirm information system requirements

Other Assigned Duties (20%)

  • Assists in developing quality deliverables that are adequately unit tested before handover for user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • As required, support end users to resolve issues in a responsive, professional, and timely manner

Requirements:

  • Completed a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
  • 1+ Year of Javascript or Angular JS (this can be from schooling or a professional environment)
  • .Net and Restful API Development is highly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Some experience in the development of user interfaces with a focus on UI/UX and mobile platform support is desired but not essential
  • Working Knowledge and/or experience delivering applications using SDLC methodologies will be of advantage

Working Conditions:

  • Mainly work from home, ideally will be attending office once per week for continuous development with the team
