Job Summary:

As the Business Process Specialist, you will serve as an authority across the organization and externally, impacting strategic direction across multiple branches within the Construction Group. Using your expertise to develop and implement operational procedures, programs, and initiatives, you will support the construction group in the delivery of services that meet strategic goals.

This position offers the flexibility of working a hybrid role between our Vancouver office and remote.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides operational support to all Construction employees, including month end process and reporting, and troubleshooting systems issues
  • Leveraging applied knowledge, develops, implements, and revises the Construction Group operational procedures, including associated forms and checklists, Team Procedures and User Guides
  • Takes a lead role in the support of project management software such as JD Edwards, ImageNow, SharePoint and Prolog, and participates in upgrades, testing, reporting, enhancements, training and documentation
  • Represents the Construction division in corporate initiatives such as software or process changes (e.g., Tier 1 initiatives)

Qualifications:

  • 5 years related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Strong computer background including experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, PMIS systems (e.g., Prolog, Procore), Image Now, Workday, and the Microsoft suite of programs
  • Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form and presenting to small or large groups. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Anticipates problems and challenges, proposes innovative solutions, and ensures solutions are consistent with the organization’s objectives
  • Acts as a facilitator and mentor - can be a team leader or key technical contributor in complex or interdependent projects
  • Knowledge of databases and experience with data analysis and database testing
  • Strong knowledge of finance and financial processes
