Job Summary:

You are an experienced Surveyor with leadership experience who will play a key role in executing a diverse range of heavy civil scopes. You have a background that includes working on large resources or heavy civil projects. You are a problem solver and continuously look for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize GPS and Total Station equipment for surveying activities.
  • Comprehend blueprint readings to prepare layouts and do as-builts of the following, but not limited to roadworks, buried utilities, drainage structures, concrete pour heights, concrete embeds & anchors.
  • Attend morning operations toolbox/briefings and prepare survey crew information packages and field assignments.
  • Ensure all survey tasks are completed in accordance with Superintendents/General Foreman’s standards and requests.
  • Ensure all survey personnel have access to proper and adequate training in compliance with Ledcor and client-specific demands.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must have previous surveying experience working with GPS, Total Stations and Trimble Access software
  • Civil 3D and TBC experience an asset
  • Must possess valid CSTS .09 (Construction Safety Training Systems) certification
  • Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification

Work Conditions

  • Camp based position
  • Rotation & hours: 10 hours/day, 14/7
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
