Essential Responsibilities

  • Performs tasks such as shoveling, moving debris, raking, and removing wood by-product
  • Provides general clean up in work areas, as well as in enclosed spaces
  • Communicating with other employees in sawmill production regarding current requirements
  • Meet productivity goals in a safe and consistent manner

Qualifications

  • No experience required, if you’ve got the desire to learn, we will train you
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to change tasks quickly is a must in this role as tasks vary and can change frequently
  • Successfully completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing is a requirement

Work Conditions

  • Shifts vary and may include mornings, afternoons, graveyards, and weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the Cant Mill
