Job Summary:

You are a Field Construction Coordinator with construction industry experience. You have knowledge of current construction work safe practices. In this role, you will assist with documentation and compiling data for crews that are building telecommunications networks. You will also be responsible for keeping track of employee timecards, ordering materials, tracking consumption of materials, and managing data on equipment. Essential Responsibilities

  • Compile and upload As-builts, redlines, construction photos, approved RFI’s, fiber sequential sheets and cleared gig lists to the client system
  • Compiling and uploading general construction documentation
  • Coordinate with Fiber Splicers to upload Fiber Splice and Test Documentation to the client system
  • Compile and upload splice photos, splice redline sheets, and full path OTDR result sheets which include ribbon averages
  • Compiling data for EOL light levels and levels that are entered into splice sheets
  • Requesting materials from warehouse and documenting consumption on those materials
  • Data entry for daily production, employee timesheets, equipment timesheets, and for subcontractors
  • Ability to read construction drawings to assist the Superintendent with pre-construction walk out, compiling constructability notes, white line and calling in locates
  • Submitting RFI of notes to the client
  • Take active role in Ledcor’s health and safety program

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in a construction related industry
  • Previous experience as Coordinator, Data Entry specialist is an asset
  • Combination of work experience and/or technical training in an industry-related trade certification or education program
  • Proficiency with Quickbase, Bluebeam Review Extreme, Office 365, SharePoint, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, and GPS Photo Apps
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and valid drivers license
  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to related construction processes
  • Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents
  • Must be able to track and communicate daily production and materials
  • Must be capable of handling logistics and crew assignments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, interpret stakeholders’ needs, and identify solutions
  • Ability to work with little supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
