Essential Responsibilities:
  • Safe and efficient operation of Mini excavators, trenchers, cable plows, etc.
  • Provide light maintenance and routine service to equipment.
  • Operates equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)
  • Reads underground utility locates and ensures safe digging practices are always being adhered to
  • Maintains a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and Ledcor.
  • Works as a part of an overhead telecom line crew and assists with restoring job sites back to their original state.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience running construction equipment.
  • Valid CDL A license with a tanker endorsement is a plus.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings.

Work Conditions:

  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, digging, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
