You are experienced and interested in 3D modeling and data integration in the construction industry. We are looking for individuals to join our Integrated Digital Services team. In this role, you will work closely with both project and office staff to develop, maintain, and leverage model data for the assigned project. Essential Responsibilities

• Produce 2D cutsheets and layout plans derived from 3D models, serving the purpose of planning and facilitating construction activities
• Manage data integration with Smart Plant Review (SPR)
• Manage all 3D model data and MDC files for the project
• Oversee model revisions by conducting thorough revision comparisons and providing support to the project team in analyzing scope changes within the model 
• Support model-related project coordination, including model coordination with trade contractors and development of IWP
• Perform clash detections and assist in developing solutions with the project team
• Provide model information and/or coordinate data from the site to assist with design
• Extract meta-data from SPR to perform quantity take-offs to support estimating
• Troubleshoot model-related issues with the project team
• Accumulate related information from project stakeholders for incorporation into the 3D model
• Implement model-related document management systems on projects. May be responsible for document control activities, where required
• Generate 4D simulations and site logistic models to support collaboration between project stakeholders. Communicate updates to the 3D site logistics plan and 4D animations, as required. This may include a combination of the following:
  • Coordinating the video storyboard
  • Identifying areas of focus for the flyover and preferred camera angles
  • Supporting/coordinating the voiceover script and recording
  • Post-production
  • Working closely with the pursuit team and operations to develop content for

Qualifications

• 2- 4 years of experience working with BIM-related software
• Educational background in engineering (mechanical, or structural), survey, geomatics, architectural technology, or 3D modeling software
• Experience with industrial construction design preferred
• Experience with Smart Plant Review (SPR) or other Hexagon Smart products would be considered an asset
• Motivated, self-starter who can work well independently or within a team environment 
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies 

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills

Work Conditions

• This is a on site position in central Saskatchewan, with in-office days and site visits as required
