Job Summary:
You are an experienced Fuel & Lube Technician who takes pride in maintaining production equipment to ensure its efficiency and safety. In addition, you maintain a high degree of cleanliness on the job.Become a member of our team today! The successful candidate must be willing to work in either Ontario or British Columbia
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate fuel/lube trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed
- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
- Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience as a Fuel & Lube Technician on heavy equipment
- Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment types
- Class 3 License is a mandatory requirement
- Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
Work Conditions:
- Applicants who reside in BC or Ontario will be given preference due to the locations of these projects (Kitimat, BC & Rainy River, Ontario)
- Must be open to night shifts
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
