Ledcor Highways is pleased to be commencing work as MTO’s Highway Maintenance Contractor in the area and we are looking for safety-orientated people who want to play a key part of keeping their highways and communities safe.

This in an exceptional entry-level opportunity to join an amazing organization with an impeccable safety culture. We are offering select individuals a fully paid opportunity to upgrade their driving licenses from a G or DZ license to an AZ license in order to join our team to support our winter and summer operations.

This training opportunity will help you acquire your AZ license AND will help you develop the skills necessary to become a safe and component winter plow operator. This opportunity ideally will lead you to full-time or seasonal employment with Ledcor. Interested in applying?  The minimum qualifications include:

  • 18 years or older
  • Possess a minimum G License without restrictions
  • Able to pass an MTO medical exam (necessary to obtain AZ license)
  • Safety-oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks

Preference will be given those applicants living in Chapleau and White River, Ontario due to the location of this project.

Approved applicants must commit to a minimum employment term.

Ledcor Highways works within various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required.
