Job Summary:

You are an experienced Service & Lube Technician who takes pride in the maintenance of production mining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Safely fuel and service heavy equipment as required and directed
  • Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling repairs
  • Operate fuel/service truck safely and efficiently
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other supplies
  • Coordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team members
  • Supports Mechanics with repairs of heavy equipment
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience as a Lube Technician on mining equipment
  • Knowledge of parts and servicing of Cat, Hitachi & Komatsu equipment
  • Must have and maintain a driver's license
  • MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket is required; training and support is provided to obtain or update certificates if needed.
