Job Summary:

As a Scheduler, you will play a vital role in our projects' success. You'll create and maintain detailed work schedules using tools like Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project. Your responsibilities will also include tracking issues, analyzing data, and reporting to various stakeholders and clients.

This is an on-site position, offering you the chance to join the Ledcor Building team in Vancouver, BC. Get ready to contribute significantly to our projects' achievements!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Creating, organizing, and tracking baseline schedules according to project specifications
  • Collaboratively works with the project team to assist in the development and maintenance of detailed construction schedules.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and report all scheduled deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to minimize exposure to claims.
  • Provide feedback on the content and/or presentation of project schedule and works with the project team to modify schedules as required.
  • Evaluate construction progress and provide regular schedule updates and schedule narrative.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues that may affect the project schedule and Assist the Project Manager or Superintendent in effectively managing a resolution.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of planning, scheduling, and preparing CPM schedules and detailed progress reports. Commercial construction industry experience is highly preferred
  • Diploma or degree related to Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering or industry-related trade certification/education
  • Proficiency in Primavera (P6)/ MS Project is required
  • Thorough understanding of construction execution strategy
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol requirements
