Job Summary:

Working under the leadership of the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day coordination and analysis of Ledcor’s cash and investments with a focus on efficient short- and long-term liquidity planning. As the Tresury analyst you will also be responsible for supporting corporate and equipment financing activities by providing analytical and administrative support to ensure the competitiveness and completeness of all financing arrangements. In this role you will provide key support to the Treasury Manager and Vice President of Infrastructure Investment on financial modelling, presentation, and other related analyses to support decision making process to optimize Ledcor’s capital structure. While supporting the coordination of credit-related decision making and reporting including financial analyses for counterparty credit assessments, and negotiation of project security.

Essential Responsibilities

  • coordinates and reports on outstanding letters of credit, coordinating with operations to ensure that all requirements are met
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial analyses to assess counterparty risks for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors and to make recommendations regarding payment terms, conditions, and security
  • Monitoring lease activity to ensure compliance with financing agreements
  • Evaluates financing proposals and assessing competitiveness of pricing terms under the guidance and supervision of Treasury Manager
  • Participates and attends meetings with Operating Groups to understand Capital Expenditure requirements
  • Analyzing, reviewing, and preparing Executive presentation reports regarding lease and equipment financing, under the guidance and supervision of Treasury Manager
  • Supports the delivery of treasury projects, working under existing procedures and defined deliverables, which may include supporting the adoption of new technologies, creation of treasury policies and procedures, and optimization of cash reporting / treasury reporting tools
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate and divisional cash flow forecasting models.
  • Facilitates day-to-day treasury operations by working collaboratively to support the optimization of the company’s overall liquidity, facilitate various forms of payment processing, and administer credit card programs
  • Supports the preparation of the consolidated cash forecast, under the direction and supervision of the Treasury Manager

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Treasury, Accounting, or Commercial Banking bodies of knowledge based on prior work experience.
  • Experience working with Corporate Banking portals, SaaS solutions, and accounting software (JDE, Oracle, etc.)
  • Financial modelling with advanced Excel skills
  • Previous experience and understanding of corporate finance and related concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technologically savvy and quick to embrace new technologies
  • Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
