As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be an integral part of the Ledcor Industrial team working on a headframe replacement. - Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, architectural drawings and electrical code specifications
- Pulling cables and cable tray installation
- Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, control panels
- Install electrical systems and other related electrical equipment
- Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix defective circuits
- Willing to act as a mentor to apprentice Electricians
Qualifications:
- Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
- Have a Journeyperson ticket or be registered in an apprenticeship from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset
Work Conditions:
- 14/7 rotation working 10 hours/day
- Travel/flight allowance for provided for non-local residents
- Private Camp based accommodation
- Benefits provided by CLAC
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Project end date: September 2024
