We are seeking Captains for our diverse fleet of aircrafts which include: Dash-8, Dornier 228, ATR and RJ aircrafts.

We have bases located in Yellowknife, Vancouver, Ontario, Edmonton & Calgary and are hiring across all locations. If you are interested in growing your career with Summit Air, Apply today!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operate our aircraft safely and efficiently

  • Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and determine fuel and oil requirements
  • Complete the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties


  • Current Canadian License
  • Minimum of 2500 total flight time dependent on aircraft

  • Minimum of 1500 hours MPIC (greater than 5700 kg)
  • Glass cockpit experience an asset
  • Ability to obtain Canadian Area Identity Card (RAIC)
  • Strong Commitment to safety culture
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
