Job Summary:

You are a National Safety Compliance Administrator with experience supporting a dynamic business in multiple geographic regions. As the NSC Administrator, you are responsible for collecting and uploading documentation as well as supporting operations with reporting, driver app issues, daily logs, and DVIRs.

This is a 4-month temporary position and is also a hybrid position where you will be asked to work from the office 3 days a week and will have the option to work remotely 2 days per week.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Compile, examine, enter, review and monitor driver and equipment records
  • Explain legislation, policies and procedures in a concise and professional manner
  • Obtain and review Carrier Profiles properly identifying and documenting the critical information including convictions, collisions, and CVSA inspections
  • Conduct on-going internal audits on safety, driver, hours of service and vehicle documentation

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience with NSC or in a similar role
  • Must have a valid provincial driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel
  • Experience with Fleet Complete, FC Inspect, Big Road, and ‘Holman Insights’ (not Pullman) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently, with an ability to research and solve problems
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements

Work conditions:

  • Office based position, with some flexibility of working remotely
  • May be required to operate a vehicle for business purposes
  • Some travel to various business unit sites may be required
