We are seeking experienced Ironworkers or those with an active apprenticeship with live plant experience. Essential Responsibilities:
Erect steel to complete structural steel structures, pre-assemble panalization, bridges and gangways
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to correctly erect structures
Previous experience with layout, man lifts in congested areas and connecting mods is considered an asset
Rigging and heavy lift experience: working with construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment
Ensures that work is completed within deadlines
Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervision
Must be flexible with duties to support project requirements
Requirements:
Must possess a Journeyperson or apprentice Ironworker holding a structural or generalist certificate
Previous experience in an industrial or live plant setting required
Communication and team player attitude
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Ledcor requires possession of OSSA Regional with CSTS/BSO or CSO, Fall Protection
Work Conditions:
Shift based position with 14 days on and 7 days off working 10 hours per day
Long term projects, site based camp provided
Charter Flights from either Edmonton or Calgary, or travel allowance for out-of-province candidates who qualify
Extended Health & Wellness benefits provided by CLAC
Work will primarily be outdoors in various weather conditions
