Job Summary:

You are an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in records management. As a Document Control Coordinator & Technical Librarian, you will be responsible for the control, organization, updating, distribution and maintenance of all Summit Air documents in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations. You will also maintain our maintenance and Flight Operations libraries to ensure that they are current and in compliance with regulations.

Join the Summit Air team in Yellowknife, NT as we continue to expand our charter operations in Alberta and the North!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintains maintenance libraries, tracking all subscriptions and renewals for maintenance document services
  • Reviews manufacturer and vendor websites to track document changes and update manuals as required
  • Maintains some Flight Operations libraries, subscriptions and renewals
  • Uploads new technical material for review and conducts meetings with applicable maintenance staff to determine action for the technical material
  • Designs, maintains and administers Ledcor Connect SharePoint website for Summit Air
  • Uploads, organizes, tracks and maintains all Summit documentation (electronic and hard copies)
  • Coordinates the process for creating and amending documents with technical experts

Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Office, Adobe
  • Previously worked within document management
  • Experience in aviation would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada and/or aviation-related technical manuals and documents is also a nice to have, but not essential
  • Highly analytical, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes of documentation and paperwork on a daily basis

  • Office based position
  • Monday to Friday schedule
