Job Summary:

The Warehouse and Materials Coordinator is responsible for supporting the maintenance of Ledcor's systems and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications. Responsibility for conducting material audits, reviewing quality/material submittals, and participating in the development of quality/materials management programs. With strong attention to detail and organizational skills, this role is responsible for facilitating seamless coordination of materials and day to day operations of a warehouse to support project success.

In this role the Warehouse Materials Coordinator will work closely with construction and project management staff to ensure demand for all materials and warehouse needs are met.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of Ledcor's material management systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Communicates material delivery schedules to all Operations.
  • Releases materials from the warehouse as directed by the construction team, ensure all documents are signed.
  • Researches and identifies purchasing opportunities to ensure that the lowest total cost of ownership is achieved for Ledcor.
  • Support the oversight of quality/material submittals and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and transparency in project documentation.
  • Conduct periodic storage inspections of subcontractor held materials and manage weekly reporting.
  • Develops and performs audits to monitor consistency across all subcontractors & warehouses (may involve site visits).
  • Sources, develops and builds effective internal relationships to help meet project requirements.
  • Sustain active supplier relationships to maintain a reliable source of supply.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of inventory tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with auditing processes such as process compliance, asset protection, security, quality control and labor utilization
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to be proactive in the forecasting of materials
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where needs change based on customer demands.
  • Intermediate to advanced user Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Aptitude for learning new software programs (JD Edwards and database software experience considered an asset)
  • Ability to work independently.

Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Day travel to be expected (20%-50%)/ Rare overnight travel needed
  • On Site work in warehouse environment (50%)
  • On site office environment (50%)
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Forklift operation (company will pay for certification)
