Job Summary:

As a Foreperson, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. You will lead a team of equipment operators to perform specific tasks, monitoring budgeting expenses, supplies or tools and reviewing internal policy and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals
• Read understand, interpret, input, and analyze production related data
• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance of Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S / OSHA Acts, regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project
• Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort
• Provide leadership, and guidance and actively train/promote learning to all crew members

Qualifications:

• 7+ years construction / telecommunications industry experience
• 2 plus years supervisory experience
• Hands on experience with Fiber Optic Cable
• Solid understanding of current construction practices and familiarity with construction documents
• Ability to work with advanced hand/power tools and alignment tools and heavy equipment

Work Conditions:

• Travel to various project sites throughout MT is required - per diem and travel accommodations are provided
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
