Job Summary:
You are a Scheduler responsible for the development and coordination of project schedules ensuring alignment to the operating groups objectives and client expectations. You will build baseline schedules, update schedules, facilitate weekly lookahead meetings, track changes, analyze production / progress data, and the provision of reports to key stakeholders both internal and external.Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate master schedule for each project and identify the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled
Direct involvement in the development and implementation of three-week lookahead schedules as well as monthly updates in order to facilitate proactive decision-making and resource planning
Responsible for creating standard reporting on Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Schedule Variance (SV), internal and external milestones
Will collaborate with project stakeholders to document and evaluate proposed changes, including scope changes, resource adjustments, and schedule modifications
Work jointly with the Planner to draft a Basis of Schedule (BoS) document for all schedules as part of the Project Controls Plan (PCP)
Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float, always maintaining accuracy of schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years experience as a Scheduler
Project experience with an Engineering and Construction company
Intermediate experience with P6
Intermediate / Advanced Excel experience
Intermediate understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience with TILOS and InEight will be considered an asset
Experience with scheduling, reading drawings/design blueprints, and Quantity Take Off (QTO) is an asset
Working Conditions:
This position has a hybrid work environment with both home and office opportunities
Must be willing to travel up to 25%
