Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) specializing in Bell 412/429, who will also serve as a Special Projects Lead.
The Special Projects Lead will be at the forefront of developing and implementing pioneering plans and modifications to enhance our fleet's capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative plans and modifications for the fleet. This includes creating detailed project plans, covering timelines, resource allocation, budget costs, and risk management.
  • You will ensure all modifications comply with aviation regulations and standards and coordinate closely with engineering and operational teams to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct field tours to support business operations and provide on-site assistance as needed.
  • Assist in planning maintenance and conducting base audits as required to ensure compliance with the standards set by the client. This includes coordinating with various teams to address any issues promptly and maintain high levels of operational readiness and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is complete and accurate. Review and comply with maintenance alerts, memos, and service difficulty reports.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety in all maintenance activities. Participate in safety meetings, report incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on various aircraft systems
  • Previous experience working on Bell 407, 412, 429 would be considered an asset
  • Hold a valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M license and ability to hold ACA
  • Flexibility to work shifts including afternoons and weekends
  • Working outside in various weather conditions
