Job Summary:

As a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with 3+ years of experience working on rotary aircrafts, you’re looking for an opportunity that leverages your experience and gives you more autonomy!
The Helicopter Engineer & Heavy Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing large maintenance projects across various bases, ensuring compliance with aviation standards, and leading maintenance crews.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Heavy Maintenance Projects: Plan, coordinate, and oversee large maintenance projects.
  • Conduct field tours to support business operations and provide on-site assistance as needed.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance crews, providing guidance and training. Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with operational needs at sub-bases, working closely with the Chief Engineer and Director of Maintenance. Facilitate communication and coordination between bases.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is complete and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on various aircraft systems
  • Previous experience working on Bell 407, 412, 429 would be considered an asset
  • Current Transport Canada M1 or M2 AME license
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with strong observational, decision-making and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
