We are seeking a Project Coordinator with 2 to 6 years of experience in multi-disciplinary commercial construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be key in supporting the successful delivery of projects, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing project plans to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Promotes a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection by actively implementing the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to meet Ledcor’s HS&E standards and comply with OH&S regulations.
- Manages and administers the Project Quality Plan.
- Maintains project start-up systems, including job site trailer/office setup, master filing system, project billings, cost accounting, and project directory.
- Handles general administrative tasks such as document review and distribution, correspondence, meeting minutes, and maintenance of files, logs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
- Supports subcontract management and procurement by managing tendering, awarding work, processing invoices and progress claims, and assisting with document review.
- Coordinates change order management by securing vendor/subcontractor pricing, reviewing and inputting data for project manager approval, and handling change requests and subcontractor purchase orders.
- Tracks project milestones, assists with maintaining the project schedule, and updates the baseline schedule.
- Prepares for project close-out by gathering warranties, O&M manuals, occupancy documents, creating turnover documents, demobilizing the site, and archiving documents.
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of relevant work experience
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering or a related field is an asset.
- Knowledgeable in construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current practices.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with scheduling software.
