Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of carpenters in commercial concrete forming and general construction practices, including intricate concrete forms, scaffolding, shelters, and structures.
  • Must have knowledge of plan reading, layout, concrete formwork, framing, steel stud, window and door install, siding, roofing, drywall, minor electrical, and minor mechanical.
  • Expertly interpret complex blueprint readings to strategize layouts, meticulously select materials, and ensure precise measurements and markings to eliminate errors.
  • Oversee and execute both rough and finish carpentry work with unparalleled attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to plan and execute tasks, ensuring adherence to stringent safety protocols and timely project completion.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality assessments to guarantee that all completed units meet a high level of standard.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket or hold extensive experience as a Carpenter, demonstrating a deep understanding of industrial carpentry practices.
  • Non-ticketed Carpenters must substantiate substantial hours of expertise in the industrial carpentry trade.
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Work Conditions:

  • Lead a dynamic team through a regular 40-hour work week with the potential for overtime to meet project deadlines.
  • Work primarily in outdoor environments, navigating various weather conditions with confidence.
  • Demonstrate comfort and proficiency working at significant heights.
