Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead project execution, ensuring compliance with contracts, sub-contracts, plans, specs, and shop drawings.
  • Supervise and coordinate sub-trades.
  • Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on the project.
  • Ensure materials and work meet quality standards and codes.
  • Maintain and update the construction schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Issue purchase orders, confirm material receipt, and manage equipment returns.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports on site activities and inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an Assistant Superintendent, with specific experience in concrete mid or high-rise projects.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with finishing sub-trades, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Proven ability to manage project schedules and conduct PDIs (Pre-Delivery Inspections).
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices
  • Solid understanding of construction practices, documents, and project management principles. .
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and using related software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid provincial driver’s license.

Work Conditions

  • Site based
  • Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
