Job Summary:

As a Learning Specialist you will play a critical role in the continuous improvement of Ledcor’s leadership programs & for managing program evaluations while ensuring alignment with Ledcor’s Learning Framework to measure learning outcomes and operational impact.

In your new role you will partner with the Talent team to ensure integration with our evaluation and competency model frameworks and supports post-program sustainment activities such as mentorship programs and skill development initiatives. The Learning Specialist also drives program design, implementation, and facilitation while leveraging data analysis for continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement (40%)

  • Serve as a resource within the immediate team on evaluation and continuous improvement practices, aligning to our evaluation framework and providing guidance where necessary.
  • Manages evaluations for in-house and leadership programs, ensuring data collection and analysis to measure program effectiveness and operational impact.
  • Analyze data and feedback, developing actionable insights and quarterly reports for Senior leaders and HRBPs.
  • Utilize our evaluation tools and if required design new evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of learning offerings, identify the operational impact, and supports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Learning and Talent COE Team to regularly review measurement outcomes and develop solutions for enhancing training effectiveness.
  • Assess gaps in current content to ensure learning offerings are effective and relevant, making improvements as necessary.
  • Stays updated on best practices in facilitation, learning delivery, and evaluation methodologies, applying this knowledge to ensure the application of learning is effective and aligns with Ledcor’s organizational needs.
  • Implement innovative training techniques and technologies to improve learner engagement and improve learning outcomes.

Program Support, Design, and Sustainment (30%)

  • Develops content, materials, and curriculums that address organizational needs, incorporating participant feedback, and reflects on course evaluation insights and trends observed through facilitation.
  • Ensure program alignment with Ledcor’s Learning Framework, Leader Expectations, and identified capabilities and skills in the programs to provide cohesive learning experiences.
  • Continuously review and update program content to reflect business priorities and best practices in learning design.
  • Implements mentorship programs and other sustainment activities to support long-term learning retention and application.
  • Maintain consistency in program resources and ensure adherence to Ledcor’s brand guidelines and standards.
  • Partners with HRBPs to understand organizational needs, provides guidance and design recommendations that support Ledcor’s competency model framework

Program Delivery, Implementation, and Facilitation (20%)

  • Deliver and facilitate engaging behavioral skills learning sessions, targeted at HRBPs, individual contributors, and people leaders, ensuring an interactive and impactful learning experience.
  • Customize and tailor delivery methods to meet the needs of a diverse employee base and learning styles ensuring inclusivity and effectiveness
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, HRBPs, and external vendors to support program design and evaluation, improving the overall participant experience.

Utilization of Tools and Social Collaboration (10%)

  • Utilize relevant tools and social collaboration platforms to reinforce development and ensure the sustained application of learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Programs Manager to align on communication channels, ensuring adherence to Ledcor’s processes and standards.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of communication strategies and recommend enhancements to improve program visibility and participant engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in learning and development, with a focus on program measurement, delivery, and/or facilitation.
  • 3+ years designing or supporting the design of program content across a variety of behavioral and leadership topics.
  • Exceptionally strong presentation, and communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail for program metrics, data analysis, and drafting quarterly reports on program outcomes.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
  • Proficiency in data analytics to identify gaps and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Proven experience in delivering training programs, particularly in leadership and behavioral skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Foster safe and open learning environments, while representing the company professionally and offering innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness around organizational dynamics and approaches to change when introducing new skills or processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in program delivery, learning engagement, or content relevance.
  • Experience with program measurement and retention of learning through on-the-job application recommendations.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
