Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clear and accurate understanding of contractual requirements and industry standards and act as s subject-matter expert in contract related matters
- Support contract performance requirements including reporting requirements, contract deliverables, contract change requirements and client requests
- Provide project management support by securing pricing from vendors, reviewing and inputting the data, client relations, subcontractor management, cost reporting and related activities
- Project and work schedules, tracking and reporting of Ledcor and client-required deliverables
- Understand and support the project in all operational quality management requirements and reports, including execution of the quality management plan
- Perform data analysis including performance analysis and historical trends and data prediction
- Support the project in the successful delivery of all elements of Ledcor’s HS&E program and HS&E plans including record keeping, follow-up and supporting incident investigations as required
- Conduct field inspections and audit inspection records for accuracy, completion and trends. Perform quality inspections, testing and audits in the field
- Provide support to site leadership in preparation of site-specific material for safety meetings and toolbox talks
Qualifications:
- Completed post-secondary education in Construction, Civil Engineering or related discipline an asset
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of Project or Quality Coordination experience on multiple projects, preferably in the highway or construction industries
- Applicants who reside in Fort Nelson, BC will be given preference due to the nature of the work. Nonlocals must be willing to relocate to Fort Nelson, BC
- Familiar with and able to administer ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
- Strong desire to own workload and work with little direct supervision
- Can build relationships, is team orientated, personable, confident, able to influence key stakeholders and proactively participate in discussions
- Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple internal and external project stakeholders and interpret stakeholder needs
- Strong technical skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, and estimating and scheduling software. Previous exposure working with Government Clients (AT, Municipalities, etc.) would be an asset
- Capable of identifying issues and generating solutions
- Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fit for lifting of material samples up to 20 kilograms to a height of 3 feet
- Must have a valid driver's license and provide a clear driver's abstract
- Willing to drive in adverse conditions

- This position will require travel up to 20% of the time
