Job Summary
You are an experienced Crew Scheduler or Travel Coordinator, with proven administrative skills and a background ideally in aviation or transportation. Your ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and solving problems on the fly will see you excel in this role. As the Crew Travel Coordinator, you will primarily be responsible for booking flights and hotels for upcoming rotations and training that occurs away from base. In addition, you will also assist with developing and entering the monthly crew schedule into the flight operations system.

  • Coordinate and communicate crew change schedules for rotations with clients and ensure all aspects of the monthly crew schedule is developed and maintained accurately
  • Ensure proper paperwork and information is provided to crews for first time rotations
  • Schedule training items as required
  • Allocate travel and schedule crew on trips as required
  • Ensure hotels and car rentals are booked for away from base trips as required
  • Assist with Irregular operations coordination
  • Assist with Crew scheduling duties
  • May perform other related duties as assigned

  • Previous experience in a crew scheduling, planning and/or dispatch role highly preferred
  • Strong administrative background required
  • Related education or training would be an asset
  • Familiarity with Transport Canada and Canadian Aviation Regulations an asset
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Analytical and organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
  • Proven communication skills to ensure effective and timely flow of information
  • Successful applicants must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

  • Position is based in Yellowknife, NT
  • Shift: Mon.-Fri, 8AM-5PM
