Job Summary
You are an up-and-coming Human Resources professional looking to build on your existing HR skills in the challenging role of Human Resources Coordinator. In this position, you will conduct a wide range of HR-related administrative, coordinator and analyst-level duties.   • Prepares and owns full process of ensuring selected employee documents are prepared, signed and submitted
  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners and business operations managers to prepare and track all documentation related to the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate data collection and approvals
  • Prepares, analyzes, and distributes moderate to complex reports in support of HR programs and business operations, conducting data analysis and providing recommendations based on observations and critical thinking
  • Provides basic navigational guidance, and rerouting of employee inquiries to Human Resources team members on various HR-related issues
  • Provides general administrative support, including preparation of announcements, creating minutes, and document distribution
  • Responds in a timely manner to multi-channel inquiries and requests from managers and employees related to HR programs, policies and procedures
  • Ensures that all data is recorded thoroughly and accurately for tracking, reporting on trends, and providing recommendations for changes or improvements to current HR practices
  • Performs a wide range of ad hoc analytical and reporting work as required
  • May perform other related duties as assigned

  • Diploma, degree and/or certificate in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent
  • 2 + years of experience as an HR coordinator, or in an administrative-level HR role, within a fast-paced and dynamic HR environment
  • Advanced Excel experience, with a proven understanding of macros, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data manipulation
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards or another large HRIS or ERP system would be an asset
  • Strong customer service focus, with excellent communication skills for dealing with a wide range of individuals
  • Excellent organizational, follow-through and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while adhering to processes and deadlines
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to take the initiative in liaising with other departments and/or external resources
    Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
