Job Summary
You are a high performance individual with an unrelenting drive for results and customer satisfaction. Your previous experience has provided you with knowledge of safety, quality and estimating in a project environment. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, you will compile estimates, invoices and reports to ensure that the commercial matters of the project align with the overall company direction and meets the client's requirements.

  • Demonstrates and promotes a culture of health, safety and environmental protection
  • Compiles and submits estimates to the client for approval before and during construction
  • Updates the Project Estimate Tracker with estimated quantities
  • Gathers actual quantities after construction for invoicing to client
  • Organizes all subcontractor civil construction quotes in the appropriate log
  • Maintains/updates all logs/trackers as applicable
  • Continuously updates procedures and undertakes various analyses as requested by management
  • Facilitates project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project's ongoing progression as required
  • Diligently obtainsall daily/weekly reporting inputs from the field team and subcontractors as required
  • Uploads and maintains all relevant documents into Documentation Management System (Aconex)
  • Works with project team to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets

  • 1 to 3 years of related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Proven success in a results driven organization where success is measured on execution, delivery and safety on multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutions
  • Working knowledge of construction and engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Capable of identifying issues and generating solutions in moderately complex situations
  • Willingness to contribute actively in team discussions, sharing experiences and ideas
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite of programs, including Microsoft Excel,is a must

  • Occasional travel may be required
