Job Summary
You are a Project Manager providing technical and field operational management to the LTS Falcon MXU fibre program. Your unrelenting drive for results and customer satisfaction enables you to manage the project schedule, sub-contractors and oversee the work of multiple project sites and field crews simultaneously. Your working knowledge of telecommunications, safety management, communication
and material management allow you to drive projects through to completion. Reporting to the Director of the MxU Program, you will successfully drive short and long term objectives for the project team while ensuring the objectives align with the overall company direction. The successful applicant will be part of an exciting project with the opportunity for advancement within an outstanding team.

  • Demonstrates and promotes a culture of health, safety and environmental protection on the project by taking an active role in the implementation of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to achieve compliance of Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations and codes
  • Supports the field management process assisting with regular progress reporting, site visits, troubleshooting and site audits
  • Facilitates project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project's and a work sites ongoing progress
  • Builds a strong and cohesive support team to ensure efficient project delivery by mentoring, guiding and coaching team to expand their capabilities
  • Diligent with obtaining all daily/weekly reporting inputs to the extended team and customer
  • Uploads and maintains all relevant documents into online workflow system, manages and documents escalations, reviews and assess sub-contractor site estimates and change orders when required
  • Works with project team to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets
  • Review and implement new internal and customer build standards while ensuring field teams deliver a safe, quality and consistent service

  • 2 to 5 years of related work experience or combination of relevant education (construction, engineering or related discipline) and experience
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic builds and maintenance considered an asset
  • Proven success in a result driven organization where success is measured on execution, delivery and safety on multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, anticipate stakeholder needs, and proactively identify solutions
  • Working knowledge of construction and engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Capable of identifying issues and generating solutions in moderately complex situations
  • Willingness to contribute actively in team discussions, sharing experiences and ideas
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs

Work Conditions
  • Travel to site & other locations will be required
