Job Summary
As a Stakeholder Relations Field Representative, you work under the direction of the Government & Resident Relations Manager. You are a communications professional who will comfortably interface with residential, commercial, government, media and internal stakeholders.

Join the Ledcor Technical Services team in Lexington, KY today! This position supports the Kentucky Wired project.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with local, state and federal authorities & officials to share the priorities of the project
  • Attend project related events as a spokesperson
  • Assist Land & Site Acquisition teams with all aspects of submitting and acquiring entitlements and agreements needed for installation of client facilities on poles and other infrastructure within the public right of way and public utility easements as designated by G&RR Manager
  • Manage escalation process by facilitating construction related issues with residential & commercial entities to ensure time bound attention and resolution as designated by G&RR Manager
  • Administer and maintain company branding, policies and objectives
  • Resolve residential and business related issues received from the Call Center or website as designated by G&RR Manager
  • Maintain relationships with municipalities, public works and utility company officials to ensure advance notification of network construction along with communicating to the construction team of any special requirements
  • Facilitate media communications during incident management events encountered
  • Submit weekly logs of daily activities


Requirements
  • University degree in Business, Communications, Government or Public Relations preferred
  • 2+ years' experience with government & public facing collaboration preferred
  • Ability to collaborate and form productive relationships across a highly matrixed operating environment
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and results oriented
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol and background check requirements
  • Excellent negotiation & conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build and foster effective client relationships at all levels within the organization


Work Conditions
  • Travel within Kentucky will be required
