Job Summary
You are a motivated and analytical individual with finance and/or accounting education keenly interested in building your career within the Treasury field. In this role, you will be working under the leadership of the Senior Treasury Analyst and in collaboration with the Treasury Administrator, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of Ledcor's cash and investments with a focus on efficient and effective utilization of bank services. This role provides support for all aspects of credit related decision making and reporting, which includes providing financial analyses for counterparty credit assessments.

  • Facilitating day-to-day treasury operations by working collaboratively with the Treasury team to optimize the company's overall liquidity, facilitating various forms of payment processing, and administering credit card programs.
  • Issuing, managing and reporting on outstanding letters of credit, coordinating with operations to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Collaborating with Corporate Accounting to prepare and distribute covenant compliance and margin calculations.
  • Preparing financial analyses to assess counterparty risks for customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, upon request.
  • Assisting in the analysis and execution of financing transactions, as required.
  • Preparing various routine and / or ad hoc treasury and equipment finance related reporting.
  • Executing treasury projects which may include adoption of new technologies, creating treasury policies and procedures, and optimizing cash reporting / treasury reporting tools.
  • Preparing and maintaining the consolidated cash forecast, under the direction and supervision of the Senior Treasury Analyst.
  • Performing other support function for Equipment Finance and Corporate Accounting, as required.

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance / Treasury / Accounting.
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills in interpreting financial data.
  • Strong financial modelling with advanced/expert Excel skills.
  • Good working knowledge of banking, treasury and accounting concepts preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills in interpreting financial data.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications; experience with financial modelling in MS Excel would be a significant asset.
  • Proven ability to work with sensitive and highly confidential documents and information.
  • Ability to identify, investigate and resolve problems; ability to seek out, recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Extremely well organized and able to effectively manage workload, time and priorities.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with both internal and external contacts, maintaining a strong service-oriented approach.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others.
